Vibrational Frequency Chart for Self Talk
One of the most pleasurable ways to raise your vibration is to rework how you speak to yourself. Sounds so easy right? In theory it is, but what I suspect makes this complex is we often feel we get something out of speaking harshly to ourselves.
The same way nudging a horse with spurs gets an instant result we can often credit success, and action that pushes our lives forward, with our inner critic.
A little dose of anxiety gets things done.
Berating ourselves to work harder, or critiquing ourselves for our imperfections can lead to upward mobility in life. My hand is certainly raised for using these techniques.
I was only able to speak more peacefully to myself after I realized this horse & spur technique was only one way to get where I wanted. Yes, I could credit a decent amount of my success to being hard on myself…but there were other ways I could achieve the same result, while raising my vibration at the same time.
The prevalent sensations I experience when expanding in to self talk that will increase my frequency are tinges of excitement, and a touch of discomfort. “Whoa, what would it feel like to be someone who believes that?? How empowering!”
Looking at the vibrational frequency chart above, some of the high vibration beliefs may hover next to disbelief in many of us.
High vibration self talk and beliefs are typically on the edge of our comfort zone (that’s what couples them with expansion). They feel like trying a new flavor of ice cream. We aren’t quite sure those toppings mix together well…but whoa, what a tantalizingly zesty combination.
Vibrational Frequency Chart of Emotions
I’d like to preface this emotional vibration chart with a disclaimer to not feel discouraged if you’re experiencing emotions on the low vibration list. The point isn’t as much where you are, but being conscious of where you primary sit in the range, and if you are moving upward to elevate your vibration or not.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, and spend a Saturday feeling bored instead, it’s worth celebrating!
Even referring to emotions as high and low vibration throws some shade. Our vibration is just information about our state of being and what we are resonant with, not something to judge as good or bad.
It can be beneficial to experience periods of life vibrating in a slower oscillation to build certain skills, plus understand how to achieve (and appreciate) times of higher oscillation.
There are numerous claims emotions relate to certain vibratory states, but I have yet to find an article explaining why.
Here’s my hypothesis: I posit emotions are states we enter that cause our body to whisk up various neurochemical cocktails of hormones and neurotransmitters. These cocktails are of varying quality, and the chemical messages seem to cause atoms in our cells to increase or decrease their oscillations.
For example, unworthiness (while not on this chart) is lounging on a beanbag with fear and guilt.
This emotional state is characterized by the absence of neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin, and hormones like norepinephrine and testosterone. It’s the cocktail equivalent of saying, “I’d like a Malibu & water please.”
All we really need to know about this cocktail is what’s NOT in it.
Conversely, passion is a cocktail fizzing with oxytocin, endorphin-infused gin, and a dash of epinephrine. Cheers!
Lower vibratory states tend to be associated with deficiencies in neurotransmitters and hormones, and overly excited vibratory states are connected to excess.
Much like Goldilocks, we are looking for a balance. It appears our cells may hum and celebrate with us when we find it.
(I swear, sometimes figuring out how to raise vibration seems like a game of being dumped off on the edges of life and told to go find the middle- when you can’t see the other side.)

Vibrational Frequency Chart: The Anatomy of a Belief Structure Shift
“I really appreciate having someone in my life who has the courage to make big mistakes.” Had I been a smaller person I may have hung up on my friend for saying this to me last week.
However, I love this soul dearly and hearing this odd compliment gave me the hugest smile. I soaked it in for hours. Me? Courage?
He was right; I’d made some seriously grave adulting errors in recent memory, but I didn’t need to beat myself up about it. I could actually be… proud of myself.
Recently, a small handful of friends even called me brave. (This is what you get when you quit your job to pursue fulfillment btw. People call you brave and then probably feel thankful they aren’t living your life.)
I’ve had people call me brave before, but I could never embody the feeling.
I realized people just didn’t know how nervous I was inside doing all the stuff I was earning the compliments over. I didn’t feel brave, so I couldn’t see myself as brave.
I couldn’t go from seeing myself as a wobbly fawn to brave instantly. If I wanted to try and feel what others were reflecting to me, I needed to shift gradually.
This vibrational frequency chart reflects my journey to become a higher vibration person by altering the vibration of my thoughts.
Any time someone mentioned brave to me I slowed down and felt my own confusion at the words. I just let that sit. Over months confusion ebbed away to curiosity and looking at myself differently. I started to see things I’d missed before. Realize I could be brave and afraid at the same time, and one didn’t negate the other. I was able to somewhat agree… and it just flowed upward from there.
There is one more element to shifting belief structures I wasn’t able to cram on this chart. The sooner we begin to take small actions in alignment with our new belief structure the faster the cement will set.
Actions are us embodying the new beliefs, and working through any emotional blockages to believing them. Without action we only understand something intellectually.
For new beliefs to influence our vibrational frequency we want to nestle in to the associated emotions. Repeat after me: What I feel is what gets recorded in to my frequency.
I’m absolutely certain dear reader that you possess all manner of magical character traits you haven’t fully absorbed about yourself yet.
My wish for you is this vibrational frequency chart inspires a journey to consciously program your frequency by altering the vibration of your beliefs. I want you to glow when you are able to agree with 100% of the warm reflections you’ve been given throughout your life.

Amplifying Vibration = Nailing Proportions
The difference between high vibration activities and low vibration activities is understanding too much of something often becomes its opposite.
We can take the energetic lift and vitamin D from sunshine and drive it down the road to an epic tan, then to sunburn, and finally to skin cancer. Creating and maintaining a robust vibrational frequency is about nailing proportions.
A major defining factor in high vibration activities is knowing when to stop.
Increasing frequency is about identifying the point of maximum return at the top of the rainbow, sensing when we’ve tipped to the downside, and knowing it’s diminishing returns from there on out. Even if all we see are benefits in the rearview mirror.
The impulse to double down on what worked previously will only hasten our slide to a low vibration place. High vibration activities done in excess often become low vibration activities.
This applies to both conscious and unconscious behaviors. Checking out emotionally to avoid pain early in life can become ADHD later in life. What’s meant to be a transitory state becomes a trait. Our brain builds neural pathways that keep us acting in certain ways on impulse, and it’s easy to tip over the rainbow without even knowing.
How High Vibration Activities Become Low Vibration Activities
When we act in narrow ways trauma, and avoidance of emotional states we perceive to be unmanageable, are typically driving behavior.
A determination to never be the fat kid again, a desire not to feel the emotional pain of abandonment push our behaviors solidly in one direction. Staunchly push away from one thing, and we often push right in to another equally narrow state of being.
We miss that we are stuck in a narrow tunnel of opposites; our lateral moves are gone. This is how an avoidance of trauma or emotional states keeps our lives (and vibration) small.
A relaxed brain sees value in a multitude of ways of being. It’s flexible and able to glide between emotional states and various ways of doing things. Our life looks like a snowflake, not a line.
Living this way we are less likely to push things so far that we start experiencing diminishing returns, as shown in the vibrational frequency chart above.
I can only write this section having reflected on these behaviors in my own life. One imbalance shoves me in to another imbalance- and I call it growth because I’m doing something different.
It is growth, but it’s a high effort/low vibration pathway to growth. This is the slow vibrational journey to center.
When we freely choose our path regardless of past experiences, that’s true freedom, and a straight route to a high vibration life.
